Your Wire Payments Account Identifier held at Bank of Montreal consists of 11-digits, combining the four (4) - digit Branch Transit Number and seven (7) - digit Account Number. This numbering convention is internal to Bank of Montreal’s client accounts for wire payment services, and should be formatted without spaces, dashes, slashes and any special characters such as #, %, and etc.

It is important that the 11-digit Account Number ID is quoted on all inbound wire payments in the Beneficiary field, otherwise you can experience delays in the receipt of the wire payment proceeds.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Payments (CAD and/or USD) from Canadian Financial Institutions and Banks worldwide may be sent directly to Bank of Montreal, International Banking, Head Office, Montreal for your account.

*** Canadian Payments Association (CPA) Direct payment routing number, represents the Financial Institution number, with a leading zero and 5-digit Branch Transit Number, preceded by the alpha code CC.

For example, CC000100022 represents the CPA Direct Payment Routing Number for Bank of Montreal, Main Office, Toronto. Some banks in Canada will only require the 5-digit Branch transit number with region code (00022) to identify the Branch of Account (Account with institution or beneficiary’s bank field).

Most Canadian Banks require the CC code or the 5-digit transit number to identify Beneficiary’s branch, as a mandatory field, before the payment can be transmitted from their payments systems.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
USD payments to Novotech Technologies Corporation at Bank of Montreal in Canada can be made through the domestic USA Payment Networks (i.e. Fedwire or CHIPS) through Wachovia Bank, NA, New York (PNBPUS3NNYC).

All Fedwire and CHIPS payments require Bank of Montreal, International Banking, Head Office, Montreal to be recorded in the Beneficiary’s Bank (BBK) field and (name of customer), along with their 11-digit Account Number identifier (enter the 11-digit account number ID) recorded in the Beneficiary Customer (BNF)
field.

Please do not record Beneficiary’s name and Account Number identifier as free format text in the Details of Payment (OBI- Field 70) field and/or the Sender to Receiver field (PPI- Field 72).

** Insert the beneficiary account ID and the beneficiary’s name; for their US Dollar 11-digit account number ID.
