Trimble's Copernicus(r) GPS receiver delivers proven performance and Trimble quality for a new generation of position-enabled products. It features the Trimble revolutionary TrimCore(tm) software technology for extremely fast startup times and high performance in foliage canopy and urban canyon environments. Designed for the demands of automated, high-volume production processes, the Copernicus module is a complete 12-channel SBAS (which includes WAAS, EGNOS) capable GPS receiver in a 19 mm W x 19 mm L x 2.54 mm H (0.75 W x 0.75 L x 0.1 H) thumbnail-sized module.
The small, thin, single-sided module is packaged in tape and reel for pick and place manufacturing processes; 28 reflow-solderable edge castellations provide interface to your design without costly I/O and RF connectors. Each module is manufactured and factory tested to Trimble's highest quality standards. The TrimCore complete navigation engine drives the Copernicus GPS Receiver with a u-Nav Microelectronics GPS chipset. TrimCore DSP software runs on a general purpose DSP to eliminate the need for a dedicated GPS baseband chip.

iChipT updateable Internet ControllerT chips provide a cost-effective and reliable solution for embedding IP-based communication and other network services in low-cost, non-PC devices running M2M (machine-to-machine) applications. iChip mediates the connection between a host device and the Internet, operating as an embedded device server. It eliminates the need for Internet programming and avoids the hassle, risks and costs of a development project. Instead, you are assured a fast design-in, with predictable timing and udget. Typical design time is one man-month. A complete, firmware-based hardware and software solution, iChip includes basic and upper layer Internet protocols and many features that optimize communication over IP-enabled networks, such as security, automatic port reconnect, and IP address registration. iChip works with almost all wired and Wireless LANs and modems, any host processor and any or no host operating system.
All models feature a fast and easy design-in, thanks to Connect One's AT+iT Protocol, which eliminates the need for Internet programming and minimizes changes to the host application. In fact, when using AT+i's SerialNETT mode, no changes to the host application are required at all. The AT+i command set is portable among all iChip models. Depending on the model, a new generation iChip may be designed into a product that uses a previous generation iChip, with minimum or no changes to the AT+i commands.
