Regional Account Managers
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct sales calls on major accounts or clients (OEM’s, CMs, VARs, SIs) to "design in" products and/or make pre or post sales calls to purchasing or operations and finance groups.
- Develop new markets and customers
- May be required with our marketing department to develop product promotions and assist at shows and marketing events.
- Responsible to provide training (potentially to customers and others) and to be trained on our products and understand company policies, procedures and services.
- Schedule promotional work and track sales activities on large complex accounts or new territories.
- Prepare quotes, prepare proposals and provide information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.
- Compile data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing and reports to management.
- Coordinate budgets, forecasts, and reports as require.
- Some travel required.
Qualifications
- Candidate should have a minimum of five years of successful sales experience.
- Wireless industry (Cellular, WiFi, RFID, etc.) experience preferred.
- Distribution experience an asset.
